Brief Description
The Municipal Enterprise Institute for Urban Development was established to facilitate the effective functioning of the strategic management system in Vinnytsia City Territorial Community. Our main mission is to introduce innovative approaches to the executive system of the City Council for sustainable and humane urban development by providing analytical, research, expert support to this process and establishing international, national and local partnerships.The Institute has been actively involved in the development of municipal strategic documents, such as the Concept of Small Rivers Development and the Roadmap for the Implementation of the Green Deal for the City Community.
Role in the U_CAN Project
In the U-CAN project, our organization will represent the city of Vinnytsia in Ukraine. We will be implementing a pilot project within the framework of climate-neutral solutions for the city and work with such topics as biodiversity, blue-green infrastructure, and the use of nature-based solutions. Our expertise will be in coordinating and developing a pilot case for our city. The main resources we provide are our specialists who will organize the process of developing the pilot project in the city itself.
