Brief Description
Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law is one of the most prestigious institutions of higher legal and managerial education and science in Western Ukraine. At the University functionate Scientific Laboratories for the Study of Problems of Public Administration and of Adaptation of Civil Legislation of Ukraine to the Standards of the European Union. The university ensure research in the field of public administration, security, economy, law; expertise of legal acts with practical recommendations for authorities; scientific and practical events. The University has experience in participating in grant projects: USAID («Creating anti-crisis hubs for civil society organizations» - center for internally displaced persons «Native Strangers», 2022); Consultation Hub for internally displaced persons «Help is nearby», 2023).
Role in the U_CAN Project
In the U-CAN project our university is project partner. Expected Contributions and Tasks are creation of the Centre for the support of local policies in the field of climate-neutral construction and energy (with Khmelnytskyi City Council); trainings and workshops in the direction of climate neutrality; international scientific conferences (round table); enlightenment activity (green skills). The Competencies of team members are Experts in the field of national and energy security, decarbonization of the economy; ecology and emission reduction.
